Do all of them squeak? Were they Honda parts? Have you already checked the castle nut's torque?

explain castle nuts torque...and how do i check it

castle nuts are on the bottom of the ball joint keeping them from poping out. and by checking the torque he means take a toque wrench or go somewhere and borrow a torque wrench and check to see if they are to spec. you can find the spec numbers in hayns or chilton.

hrmm you think that would fix it from squeaking

I think it's the bushing being stretched. I got the squeking sound too coming from the back after changing the rear upper arms. Doesn't drive me crazy though

If the nut isn't tight enough the tapered fitting might be able to slide around a little bit and make noise.

Have you figured out which ones are making the noise by putting WD-40 on them one at a time?

did they replace the old control arms with one's with a poly bushing instead of rubber? Poly squeeks to no end, and does require constant lubing to keep it quiet. Just a thought...

Otherwise maybe you got a bad ball joint. That's possible too.

Did they grease all the control arm bushings? If not, that may be the cause.

I replaced mine 5 months ago and the upper front right started squeeking about a month ago so I did the prelude arm swap today. Seems to have fixed the squeek. Just hope it lasts. Bad thing about the balljoints being made today is they make them without grease fittings.

high temp grease!

hehe, it might work better then wd-40 in the long run...
