Is it possible to switch my power stearing unit with the DX non power stearing unit? I am thinking of making my Accord a drag car and I don't need the power stearing. What all would I have to change out?

it was my assumption that DX's DID have power steering... if not, i am interested in the same plan as you! :)

My friends DX didn't have power stearing. It didn't have any power options.

hmm.. well i have heard that it can be spendy to swap out to a manual rack, but i am not positive. i think i am gonna start by just ditching AC and cruise, since they will be a bit easier i think

lol well neither of mine work! lol

ac has been dead for a while, no belt is even connected, so i might as well rip it out. also i never you CC, and when i threw on the lude steering wheel my cruise decided it didnt want to work anymore. btw dont you still owe me $40??!! lol

i think you can get a manual rack in canada, but all the accords here had power racks.

yes, it is possible to get manual steering, but it is hard to find manual rack.
all you have to do is remove all the PS hoses and rack, and replace it with new manual rack.
i have been looking for one for a while, but i can't find it.
i may just drain the PS fluid out of it and cap it off.

using a POWER RACK AS A MANUAL RACK won't work for long ! the teeth will be stripped with no help from the PS pump !

talk to CAROTMAN on manual racks ! i think he knows where to get them !
