i want to get a good filter but not a big one so it wont interfere with my brakelines and get messed up. So do you think this one is good enough:

these are those blow-off valve style filter but i want to know if it will deliver the good suction as other filter such as apc, hks and arospeed.

Sport Compact Car or Import Tuner just did a dyno test on filters and intakes. The Weapon R filter was the best as tested. They tested the filter on the Weapon R short ram intake. Gave 3hp at the wheels if I remember corectly. They decided that the Weapon R intake filter was the best for air flow.

My experiences with the Matrix filter, Weapon R filter, and APC filter proved that the Weapon R filter was the best. I could feel the car pulling more in 5th gear with the Weapon R filter compared to the other ones. The one I have right now is the APC one and it's crap.

I don't know about that, but I got mine from my cousin and I had to clean it cuz it was dirty. They're cool though cuz they don't rub/ruin the brake lines.

I have the weapon r intake, with the new dragon series filter. It really does work better then any other filter. I use to have a K&N on my old intake, but I can tell a big difference with this one, now... and regarding it getting dirty, I've had it since summer and haven't had to clean it yet, but I'' probably try to do it on Monday, just to start over with a new clean filter.

you should clean your filter at regular intervals whether it looks dirty or not.

I am thinking about buying a new filter soon so if someone could post some dyno results that would rock.

I might have to get another intake pipe so I will have enough pipe to run to my hoodscoop. Lots of little bends to get it there. 3 I think. No major bends so I'm not worried about power loss. Then my ram air setup will be complete.
