my car is making a subtle rattling/grinding kind of noise when the clutch is engaged. its very noticeable in neutral, you cant hear it when the car is in gear but you can tell it is catching kind of funny. any ideas?

oh yeah - both the front axles are shot, could this have anything to do with it?

it is the arm on the end of the clutch cable that connects to the transmission. go to the end of it (under your battery) and move it up and down. you adjust it with a dial next to the battery. get a service manual, a Haynes or Chilton and it will be in there.

if you have a fast connection or ask a friend who has to download the service manual ( in the FAQs ) it would be very useful !

thanx Grant for clearing things up !
