you need the rear control arms, SEi master cylinder and front and rear rotors and calipers, and parking brake cables. is that what you want to know?

The 86-87 LX-i had the same brakes as the 86-89 DX/LX, not the larger ones that the 88-89 LX-i/SE-i had. So for yours, since it's an 87, you also have to upgrade the fronts to the larger 88-89 LX-i brakes if you do the rear discs. Otherwise the front and rear %'s will be all out of whack. That's an easy swap though, just swap the whole front knuckle with one from any 88-89 LX-i (or the SE-i you're getting the rears from).

So to answer your question, here's exactly what you need for the swap: (these are pics of my own rear discs, which I have yet to install, lol)

1) Entire rear suspension knuckle, which includes the arms, rotors, backing plate, calipers, and e-brake cables, etc. Everything you see in the pic below x2

2) Entire front suspension knuckle. The arm is basically the same as the one you're taking out, but the rotor and caliper are bigger, thus the whole arm needs to be replaced to have the proper caliper bracket mounting spots. Basically the same thing as the rear pictured above, just in the front instead. Any 88-89 LX-i/SE-i will work

3) SE-i proportioning valve. This must be taken from the SE-i cuz the rear discs had different valving than the rear drums had (this also plays a part in the requirment of the front upgrade)

4) 88-89 LX-i/SE-i master cylinder. I'd recommend just buying a new one of these instead of a used one

That's about it for parts! Then it's just swapping them in, which is pretty easy cuz it's just a bolt out bolt in procedure. Hope that helps some :)
