Hey guys i just got a 87 lx-i hatchback in perfect cndition from my uncle, i was wondering what youall think i should do to my car first, i was thinkin to start out with:
1. cat back exaust system
2. Exaust muffler.
3. Pace setter Headers
4. RacingHart 17 inch wheels
5and an AEM or WeaponR cold air Intake

Let me know what you guys think, help from people who really know what they're talkin about would be much pappriciated, thanks.

That sounds pretty good, but nobody makes a cold air intake for our car just short ram intakes. Go to the how to section and check out of to make your own CAI. It's not that hard and You can save come money for a good system.

Yea i had heard that tere were no CAI's for our cars but i went to www.NOPI.com and did the car search and it came up saying that the weaponR CAI fit, i donno though, cant belive everything you see on the internet.

my opinion: i myself am a music man i would get hooked up with some music in the car first!! If your not in to the music make the car look nice first go with the rims!!

Weapon r makes a short ram intake... they have an add on that turns it into a cold air system, it's a kit that has a shield that goes over the filter, then a long flexiable pipe, that has a duct at the end, its designed to work as a ram air kit, but you could use it to get cold air from somewhere, I was thinkin it would be cool to run down behind the front bumper, and hook the duct up to in opening down below the blinker on the passenger side, it would be hidden, and air would flow it thru the opening it the piece on the bumper...

a very stupid question :D! what is a catback ?? is it a cat converter , muffler , exhaust system !
