Prelude Trans Swap

A friend of mine was telling me that you can put a prelude tranny in our cars without buying anything extra, like a kit or anything. Is this true, will it bolt right up? What year/model prelude would you get the transmition out of?

2nd gen (86-87) Si Bolts in with no mods.

2nd gen (84-85) carbed trannies have better gearing, but you need to take it apart and swap in an accord diff along with useing the prelude flywheel (which is lighter).

2nd gen (86-87) carbed trannies also need a diff swap and flywheel to work, but the gearing is better in an Si tranny so its not worth the work.

it's geared lower, so I'm pretty sure it will give you better accel
