Recently i've been noticing that when my car idles it starts to get really hot. Its almost as if the fan doesn't kick in.
One time i locked myself out of my car while it was running (long story) and the temperature needle got really high, close to 90%. It would go really high and then the fan would come on for a little bit to cool it down to about 70% and then the temperature would rise to 90% and the fan would come on again...etc.
I seem to have this problem more often when its raining outside and i let the car idle for a while or i'm doing a lot of stop and go driving. Can anybody help me with this?
