the lip is a PERFECT fit.. only mod done was heat treating it a little and cutting the corners to bend correctly.. otherwise.. it fits PERFECTLY and reaches the end of the bumper... PERFECTLY! oh yea, and mind i say, it's a FULL EXHAUST and not jus the muffler.. by the way, that's some hilarious shit justin haha!

Nice, very nice.

I was just wondering though. Do people laugh at your car when they see the "DOHC VTEC" badge?

probably not after they find out it's true, the hard way.

what did you have to do to make that exhaust fit? is it a cat-back or a headers back?

i love those wheels.

the exhaust had to be adjusted a little.. over all.. it's a nice suttle fit. nothing major in the adjustments. i suggest a lot of u look into it when buying an exhaust. thanks for the comp.. the wheels were a bitch to find., since it's oldschool., for an oldschool car..

u guys r fucking hilarious haha! i still have the typeR muffler.. it's in bad shape though becuz when i redid my exhaust.. my cat converter was empty... i blew all the honey comb bullshit into the muffler and was spitting it out. so i was running a hallowed cat converter for awhile. oh yea! i was tryin to pm u matt.. make sure ur MAP sensor is still ok.. if not, get a new one or a good used one. otherwise, convert to the obd1 map sensor.. i fried mine. and also matt.. DO NOT do obd0. becuz if ur gonna have somewat a same set up like mine, ur gonna fry distributors left to right. IF u dont find a good one that is. good luck, late

You came to Oroville? Well, whatever, but anyways, I think it's kinda cool for you to have the badge. It makes people think it's a joke, but yeah, let them find out the hard way.

how hard is it to convert our cars to OBD-1 and can we get an obd-1 conversion with what car?

wickedaccord
05-01-2003, 12:05 PM
if u mean.. jus converting the a20 to obd1... that's not even worth it.. ask urself.. y would i wanna do such a thing?? but if ur talking about a swap in our car with an obd1 conversion.. yes it is do able.. say u bought a gsr motor obd1 and plan on keeping it obd1.. then all u have to do is.. switch the pins on the ecu harness properly so it's set up like a first gen b16.. then u buy a pigtail to obd1. now u have to also rewire the distributor wires to obd1 so u can use the obd1 distributor. u also have to worry about the o2 sensor.. u now have to add a 4 wire o2 sensor and wire that up correctly. oh yea, u have to add a couple sensors too.. forgot exactly which one., sorry. but all in all it'll be worth it converting to obd1. ive fried 4 distributors already.....

Thanz for the info Jon.. I was planing to go with the OBD-1 setup.. Just need to find a good distributor & I also want to replace the Intake manifold .. I almost bought a distributor, but the dude bailed out on me.... I can honestly say, I am about a month 1/2 away from completing the swap.. The B18c1 is going in stock..for now.. I still have not finished buying the internals.. But I guess that can wait..

Grant2k

i would say do the internals while the motor is out just for the convenience, but it's your motor.

especially since all you have as far as upgrades are pistons. hahaha

I like those rims,16x7's correct, and that swap rocks man....one day I'll get off my ass and do one lol It was hard to see the dyno but it looked like 174hp at the wheels right, thats about 200hp at the flywheel.

wickedaccord

the lip is specifically off a 94-95 accord. do not DO NOT!! get a lip off a 96-97 accord. or else u will regret buying it. it is small.. and will look funny. the 94-95 accord lip is a good fit.. finding it at junkyards will be hard. i got it off a newspaper here called RECYCLER.COM i jus posted a wanted ad and got a reply an picked it up for 50 bucks. as for my rims., it's 15x7. and like i said, those were a biiaaaatch to find. luckily i found it on the recycler paper too for 1100 with falken azenis tires. if that hadnt poped up, i wouldve gotten spoon wheels instead. but im happy with it, ive been getting a lot of jdm stuff as of late and keeping it traditionally stock looking.. at the very least haha! but i was telling someone (sorry i forgot his sn) that a GSR motor alone.. with all the necessary hardwares.. will cost u 3800.. and have ATLEAST 4500 ready. there will be problems on the way and u want to have money ready for it. that 3800 does include the install.. depending on who u go to and how much they charge u. i payed 200 to my friend for the help on the install and 100 for the ecu wiring...

since that's a stock lip, do you think an aftermarket 94-95 lip would fit?

wickedaccord
05-03-2003, 02:44 PM
yes it will work.. but with major work on the lip. for an example, ive had a GREDDY GRACER lip off a 96-97 accord on my car before. and it involved a lot of cutting to get it to fit on correctly. there's a pic of my car at 89accord.com that's mikes webpage. it's been there for a long time now.

since no one else has asked I guess I will. Whats the deally yo with the extended studs? You know they arent needed with those wheels. Is it so no ordinary lug wrench will work for the people trying to jack those rims? Just curious. Oh and nice car.

wickedaccord, what setup are you currently running in your accord? i see in your sig you have a B18C5 with some nice stuff done, but in the pics you have a B18C5 block with a B16 head. is this your old setup? its nice to see someone with the good ole B series under there.

(oh, and in my eyes, the B20A doesn't count as a B series.)

I was wondering about the extended studs as well.
