wheels for an 86

im a newbie and i am interested in purchasing some wheels for aorund 50-75 piece. but i have no idea which wheels will fit my 86
lxi. b/c i went to tirerack and it showed me a bunch of 5 lug wheels but i'm am sure i only have 4 please help

You can use just about any wheel up to 17" with a 4 x 100 mm bolt pattern and a 40 mm offset. Up to 45 mm offset is ok, but no less than 40 mm.

If you do go less than 40mm you might have to roll the rear fender lips like i had to. Depends on if your car is lowered, how much, and how far off the offset is. 38mm is about as low as you want to go. Stick with 40+ though.
