Ok, who's ever heard of this thing??? Just wanted to know if it's legit and if so where can I find one...... I heard that our OEM one's run at 186 degrees so I wouldn't mind getting the lower temp. one...... :D

ebay has a 160 or 165 floating around. i heard from someone on here that they are pretty generic, so just find a 160 that will fit and you are good.

Why do you want a colder thermostat?

Your engine will only run cooler in the winter with a cooler themostat.

The Thermo regulates the engine's minimum temp, not it's maximum or "operating" temp...

It will make it heat up faster in the winter that's why.

Actually you're right about it running a little colder than normal in the winter time but I'm not too concerned about that because 20 degrees is not that much of a drop off in the winter time compared to in the summer........
