2 1/2" piping from the cat back with this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33636&item=2409994127&rd=1) muffler on the end. It sounds sooooo sweet and the 2 1/2" piping is actually nice, haven't felt any losses anywhere yet. Couple pics

hell yeah man, looks great. i hope it sounds as nice as it looks, and $40 daaaamn what a steal i paid 140 for mine.. it's a 3a racing.. i've still got the stock pipeing and everything and it's clamped but it is extremely loud at around 3500 rpms nice and deeeeep really really deep.. how does yours sound?

quick question?
um.. how come u didnt get hangers for it?
im guessing with it just like that it will shake over bumps and shit?
no???

how does it sound? Great, very deep. Let's just say that it sounds almost as good as my friend's 01 Integra GSR and that sucker is deep. From 1-4k RPMs it's at the deepest and after that you just start hearing the motor.
About my other mods, I just have an intake on it, but I'm sure I'll get some more soon.
It does have hangers, you just can't see them in the pics. They even welded one right on the top of the muffler.
And I paid about $60 for the muffler including shipping and I payed $75 for the 2.5" piping and to have it all welded on.

hey, why did you have it put on below the rear "axle" thing. Its suppose to go on top of that. It would probably scrape pretty bad if you lower it. Maby even ruin it. Id get it fixed

my exhaust looks a lot like that, same piping and everything, it shouldnt scrape if u lower it a little, but just watch your midpipe, i spent hours today trying to get mine up... but since u have hangers u shouldnt have too much of a problem.

I bought it for my work car and since that's the only car I drive 5-6 days a week I thought I'd start making it a little nicer. I have the money for rims I just haven't found any for a decent price that I like. But yeah, I'll have wheels within the next 3 weeks.
And about the piping being below the axle, that's just how they did it. I didn't tell them how I wanted it or anything so I guess they just did what's easiest. It's actually better that way for performance though, not as many curves. I don't do much 4-wheelin' in it though so hopefully it'll be fine. :)

ur gonna wanna drop it once you get those rims, sooo low hanging exhaust is a nono... but anyway it looks great, i have the same car...

once u go black you never go back... lol

yeah, I'm only gonna drop it 1.5" at the most, probably just 1". But yeah, I know what you guys mean, I used to scrape my civic ALL the time. Then I started driving over bumps and shit the right way and I'm used to it now.

And I guess I'm gonna try a 94-95 accord front lip on it and see how well that works out. So I've got it all planned out, just have to find the time to do it all. :)
And I washed it and waxed it about 2 hours after I took those pics :D

ok um.. those mufflers look totally different.. or im looking at it wrong...
the one in ur pics.. has a flat tip.. not a diagonally cut tip like the one on ebay..
so what gives?

wikkedv15
05-04-2003, 06:17 PM
did they just post the wrong pic or something?
i mean i like what u have and all.. but i just saw that now.. lookin at the link.. on ebay..
u can tell its diagonally cut by the silencer...and how the tip is..
well um.. just curious lol

yeah, I noticed that too after I got it. The only thing different is the slant though so it's no biggie to me. :)

who ever did your piping did a way better job than what is on my car. the part where it goes under the axle on my car looks like a mangled POS, but yours is the way it should be. nice.

hey that looks good man. i want that same muffler. but i want the one in the pic FOR SURE. i hope when i order it i dont get that damned straight muffler. i really like the slanted ones 100% better.

i think youre exhaust setup looks nice. where in WA do you live? i wouldnt mind driving/riding/hearing your setup since you have 2.5" and thats what is going on my car next! :) along with a muffler like that one you linked to. :)

Why do you keep putting down my work car? I know, it's an old piece of shit, what's your point? And how about I sell my civic and buy about 5 of your car, you broke ass. I probably have more money put into the motor of my civic than your pos is even worth.

i'm really desperate for one right now Well I actually did bring it home with me, we were gonna put the muffler on my gf's sister's car cause it was almost brand new and she needed one. So we tried hacking that up and ended up destroying it so we threw it away, sorry. :(
