I've looked all over the internet and found nada. I want to know if anyone makes pistons for an 87 DX. Would it be better to mill the head, or would that not be a good idea? The pistons in the engine now already have the grooves in them for valve clearance.

Srp, Je, Wiseco will all make custom pistons. You just have to send one of yours in.

Do they make 4 replicas or do they make high compression versions?

They'll make whatever you request. Larger, lower or highr compression, etc

So, just say high compression, and voila? Cool. Thanks alot!

Well it doesn't work quite like that. You have to be specific ie. 10:1, 11:1 compression, bore size.

Yeah I don't know what compression would be the best. What kind of gas would I need with a 10:1 or 11:1. Probably have to get like race gas or something. I was going to get custom pistons but I don't know the specs and what I would want so I just forgot about it but I'm still curious about them.

pump gas would work just fine(93 oc).

hmm, where can I find the bore specs on the stock piston? In a repair manual maybe? I just want the exact same size pistons with higher domes, say 10:1 compression. What info would I need?
