it needs to be lowered bad, but other than that it's not bad. i know a lot of people are going to ask what kind of wheels those are. what are they and what size? i like them. they'd look good on a real low car.

blazin3gen
05-07-2003, 10:00 AM
what i see wrong with it is that it needs a wash, and it needs the damn stickers removed from the back of the trunk! other than that yea looks good!

i was about to say..... that car is screamin WASH ME!!!!!!!! the stickers also need to go and you might wanna do somethin about the rear wheel wells, they lookin a bit ragged. all in all not a bad car. and get a straight pic of the wheels, lookin down at them makes it little difficult to see the purtiness of em.

Before I wash it I need some good cleaner of somekind to take of the grease hand prints any IDEAS??

89accord_lxi_coupe
05-07-2003, 11:14 AM
using a good car wash product should take it off. if you've tried that and it didn't work, you probly left the prints on too long. just sayin. i know when i had to get dirt and grease and dust off my hubs i used stuff called "Greased Lightning", wether or not that can be used on metal i'm not sure of. wet the car down really good, i mean continuous drippage and use a little bit of car cleaner on a rag and use it on each print. then just wash the rest of the car. also when you wash use two buckets. put your cleaner in one and straight water in the other. when you rinse off your rag or glove, rinse it off in the straight water. you get a better cleaning, cause your not mixing the crap with the cleaner and hurting the cleaning ability of your product.

try dish soap.

89accord_lxi_coupe
05-07-2003, 11:34 AM
no no no, you dont use dish soap on a car. the degreasers in them are too harsh for the clear coat and can hurt the color of the car. if anyone disagrees then that's fine. doesn't bother me.

i'm not really into the whole lowered truck thing. that's why you buy a car. in my opinion if you're going to customize a truck you mine as well go in the other direction so you can use it for it's intended purpose, that and i love to go off roading.

i agree for the most part, but if it's a 2WD truck than it isn't as capable off road so why not lower it. since you're only going to use it on the road why not make it work better there than off-road where you'll never take it. and if you really want to talk about intended purpose, trucks were disigned for work not recreation. i see lowered trucks with quads in the back my me all the time and i think that's just fine.

Yeah, I agree with you as well Meohmy01, That if it's a 4wd. But just like Grant said if it's 2wd why not lower it ..And my brother's is 2wd (Im sure you knew that though). Nolan, Won't be making it to anywhere yet.. Still need to get a new tag for the car. (Got the Speedo Ticket and Suspended Liscence Outta the way though)

Tim: think whatever you want, i like the plate holders. Besides it's my car and i'll do what i want.
