rear trunk struts 87 HATCH

hey, I need some new struts, there not holding up the rear hatch very well, is there some Special honda only hookups for them? or any one from anywhere work???? thanks.

You should be able to find the right replacement at most auto stores. Most auto part distributors have compatibility books listing the applications of the different struts they carry. If the struts connect using a ball-link to cup type joint then most struts will work just fine.
