Hey, I want to get some high compression pistons, right? Well, I've been told JE and some other brand names... What specs should I send them? How high compression can I get? My pistons already have the groves for the valves, so would custom pistons nail the valves due to valve clearance? It is worth boring over my cylinders too? Oi.

you just tell them what you want and send in one of your pistons.

You have to send one in cause noone stocks pistons for the a20.

Whats a good compression that would be used for a fully balaced/fully built NA moter?? 10.5?? Do our cars have knock sensors???

Thank you!! :) Hate to be insistent here, but why will that get me 10:1? I mean, factory compression height? That sounds like stock. Does this mean they only dig the valve reliefs in deeper and then I need to get my head milled? Thanks for all the help.

The stock piston surface is bowl shaped.(concave) You ask for a flat top piston with the valve releifs. Stock height would be the distance from the top piston ring to the top edge of the piston.

No milling of the head thats the whole purpose of getting what you want with the pistons.
