I need some help on exactly what to upgrade for Turboing.

rods/Pistons, Studs? Gaskets? This is concerning engine internals.

I need to get a really good Idea of the cost of prepping the motor becuase I'm going to shoot for atleast 300 horsepower when I get another 3gee.

youll need pistons and rings, an engine gasket set... it depends how far you want to go. If youre gonna rebuild the entire lower end youll need all of the main and rod bearings but they should be good unless you have well over 250k miles or your engine was abused/neglected. Also if you go with pistons youre gonna need to hone out the cylinders because its a bad idea to put in new rings/pistons on unmachined bores. Getting the crank balanced and knife edged is a good idea too. The stock rods are plenty strong unless you overrev the engine well into 7k.

I know what your talking about overreving... that's how I busted my 145,000 motor Crank bearings and crank was scratched up.
