One of the previous owners of my accord put a custom top on it. The only way I can explain it is its like a vinyl covering over the roof.:wtf: Has anyone seen anything like this before? It looks like a convertible but it's not. Can anyone tell me what this is called and approximately how much it would take to have it removed?

It just sounds like a vinyl roof kit. I have no clue how to get it off, though. It might be glued down or something...you might call a shop and see what they say.

i'm guessing that mod wouldnt look good on our cars.

I've seen that kinda stuff done of 3G Accords before and in my opinion, it looks horrible. I think taking it off would cost almost as much as a decent-shape 3G Accord.

I wouldnt yank it off untill you figure out how it is attached to your roof.

this was all i could find, i got it off Mike's site. i guess Paulie's page isn't up anymore but his car definitly made this top look good.

Yeah some kid at my school has a top like that. It looks soo bad. He did a really bad job on putting it down I guess.

That phantom top is exactly like mine except mine is white, which sounds wierd, but it everyone seems to like it because it matches the inside of my car.
