What kinda of Horse Power boost would a weber carb give you?

we don't know the numbers, but many people guess around 10-20hp with a lot better responce if you tune it right.
Don't expect the weber work good out of the box. you will have to spend some time tunning.

I never got around to dynoeing the car when I had the weber in the 87, but just going by the "FEEL" the car was definitely faster. I searching for a dyno place in Delaware last summer but just never found one.

yeah there is a big notice after the weber they are right when they say you have to fine tune it. after i set the air fuel mix and the idle speed, i had to adjust the float level as well. once its fine tuned it is great. A LOT better than stock. then you can remove your vacuum lines too. you wont need them. i would say a good 10-20. depending on how you tune it. you learn more about your car too tearing into that stuff.
