How do I remove and install the trunk?

How do I remove the trunk lid, and then put a new one on? Mine was crunched in an accident and soon I will be getting a new trunklid.

detach the trunk release cable from the trunk latch and detach it and the wiring harness from the inside of the lid. Then undo the 4 bolts that attach the lid to the arms.

you have an 86... so you'll need an 86-87 lid or an 88-89 lid with the 88-89 tail lights.

Speaking of trunklids, does anyone know if it's possible to swap coupe trunklids with sedan trunklids and vice versa? This question has been bugging me for the past couple of weeks and I was just wondering. No, I'm not gonna do it. So, what do you guys think? I think it should fit ok.
