View Full Version : intake, would this do anything?
i got a carbed dx and i got a K&N air filter, i don't want to customize a civic intake onto the keihen because i'm getting a weber but i thought about taking out the airbox and the plastic tube that goes to the aircleaner right where the valve is from the header and running a custom pipe to where the airbox used to be and just molding the pipe to the stock air cleaner.... would this do anything?

gaaaahhh. USE THE SEARCH LINK.
noobs...what are ya gonna do......oh well.
do a search. there are A LOT of threads about giving carbed accords short rams and CAI's [cold air intake]. we have posted lots of pics and diagrams debating the best way to do it and different methods. some people have done it. but the general theory is that it would increase power. and according to....pun intended....those that have them...they noticed a bit of increase along with a deeper sound on some of them.
