ok, I went to the local car junk yard to look for parts for my accord and i ran into an 87 integra, the weird thing is that it has a DOHC engine and it looks like it's in a pretty good condition, but on the engine bay it said that it suppose to have D16A, but as far as i know D16A is SOHC:confused:
I can get the whole thing for $200 Cdn with the tranny
And i can't find any numbers on the engine block, seeing how it's all dirty and all, but anyway would an engine that fits 86-87 integra fit 86 accord??????

All 86-89 integra engines came with DOHC. You don't want that engine, you wouldn't gain much anything and you will need to modify your engine bay. If you are looking for DOHC engine that will bolt right up look towards a b20a.

For other engines that will fit check the FAQs.

its not a D16, its a B16 with the valve cover that has ribs on it, looks like a JDM B20A valve cover. Yeah, that motor is not worth it.
