main relay clicking?

ok i have searched and searched, but my main relay when i hook up the battery is clicking non stop, but when turn the key to the third spot it doesnt do it anymore, and the car wont start, what could it be?

also there is a clicking coming from the intake it sounds like, i have no idea what it is, all the time, except when i turn it to the third key part and the fuel pump pressurizes the line, then it stops clicking after its done that, i have no idea, anybody?

mine did something similar and it turned out to be a bad ECU

yeah... the clicking from under the hood.... listen to see if it is coming from the black plastic box on the upper left. The on with all the vacuum hoses going into it.

its not coming from there, its coming from the intake manifold, i am pretty sure its the main relay, i just havent had time to go get one, im hoping its that
