I have got about $500 laying around collecting dust and want to spend it. What to you guys suggest I should get. I thinking about some headers, short shifter, and a radar dector or muffler. I only have gutted cat and no muffler for performance. :help:

Headers and a cat-back exhaust install...IMO, anyways. Or maybe a new cam... Or you could give it to me :D:D

Get a 2.25 inch custom catback with a dynomax muffler about 150 then some headers between 150-400 but for the love of god and in the name of all that is holy get a muffler loud != Fast

Well I all ready got 17"rim and a 1.75" drop. I could get some Konis to smooth out the ride. If I did my exhaust I would go with no catback just headers with 2.25" pipe to a undecided muffler. I also could use a clutch.

go with the clutch it is best to get the car in working order before moding it.

Then do a performance clutch and do the exhaust, but for the time just get the piping from the stock header doen and put a dtm style muffler on, the look really good and sound nice too, there not whinny or ricey at all, the have a great pitch and don't bog...

Or here's an idea, I pretty much have everything done to my car that you could think of, so I';d say wait until the meet in afew weeks and get some ideas then, I have the konis all around, so you could see how they ride and handle before you get them...

Well my clutch works good for normal driving but when I ask too much of it like racing or driving up a mountain it starts to take a crap after it heats up and begins to smell like shit. Right now I still have the stock struts with dropzone coilovers so the Koins will be a must. At $400 they are spendy, but I have to get them sometime.

Get the Koni's, then and with the money left over get a muffler, that way you'll have one when the time comes to do your exhaust, or get a few things to dress up your engine...

get the konis... then when you get some more cash.. get them revalved to handle the super stiff dropzones

Well at least you have fuel injection. I'm all most finished with the swap in my car. It is a pain in the ass.

if you have the carb you could get a weber conversion kit. they are on www.carbsunlimited.com if your not worried about emisions.(sounds like your not) and then you would have enough left over to buy headers too. the $150 pacesetter ones.

just a thought.

Well if I still was running carb I would but I'm going with EFI. I'm just wait on a part before I can finish it. They I will dump the all the extra lines for the EFI that I don't need.
