I'm not going to lie, I don't know anything when it comes to the engine of a car. But I know that I want a new intake system, but I don't know anything about brands, types, or anything else. So can anyone inform me/ suggest some good intakes to get. And links would be nice if they also provide information.
Thanks, and sorry for the dumb questions.

Ebay...you could get the shortram intake from 92-95 Civics or Cold Air Intake from 90-93 Integras or 94-97 (4 cylinder) Accords with little modifications.
Weapon-R makes a short ram intake, but there expensive...

just go to ebay and get a 92 civic short ram it is the easiest to install cut about 3-5 inches off the filter end and it will lay right in.
Something like this

How easy is it to install that? I looked, and it comes with like, 3 peices, the afilter a small rubber tube, and a ring. And on my engine, it LOOKS like the intake contects to 2 different things. Is it something I would have to take in and have done?

And that's pretty easy to install by your self right? Doesn't look like there's much to it.

yeah, you can save a lot of money by going with the Civic intake...I got the Weapon R...overpriced as far as I'm concerned, but I didn't know any better!!

You also have the option of a cool air intake. Will more then likely need to move the battery to the back of the car for that though. =)

Why would you want to bore out your intake pipe? You can get different sizes and the stuff is like 1/8" thick the way it is. Unless there's something I don't know I don't think there is a reason to bore out the intake pipe. If you want bigger pipe just get a bigger size, that's the way I see it.
what does boring out your intake mean?
