It kinda looked like an old nova maybe. I just glanced at it and that popped into my head. But damn that is a guy with a lot of time on his hands. (wondering if he could have just bought a new benz and put lambo doors on it....) That is one sweet old car.

The reason why someone wanted to do that was because the car is still in prototype, or concept stages lol. That's pretty funny, the car not even released yet, and somebody already drives one that looks 95% identical.

The car was a Mercedes C126 Coupe (or 560 SEC) btw. Mercedes got the idea to make this new car because of the surplus of old SEC's lying around. It's a cost-saver to just use old chassis's instead of designing brand new ones I guess (sound like cheap bastards to me...for a company that manufactures Luxury/Sport sedans...).

yea that pic is one of the concept car they built. somebody pulled a quote from the site he had the process on and he said something to the effect of "what do you do when you want a car that isn't in production yet? Build it yourself" that just wreaks of coolness. ride around in that and see what people think. GOOD GAWD!!!!!!
