I got some useful info on parts for my up-and-coming 88 accord. Someone said to find an intake from a civic and modify it to fit my ride. Now is there a specific year or model I should be looking for? Thanks for the tips and for the welcome!

I believe it's the 92 Civic for the shortram or you can get a CAI from a 90 Integra ..and there is the DIY CAI, Look in the how to's section.

did you guys weld a nipple to stick the tube in... or drilled a hole then put a grommit there? (on the intake piping)

was there any notice in power for the short ram?

My short ram came with a hole and my cai had a nipple allready welded on to it.

u can also eliminate the nipple for the PCV and put a breather on the valve cover. Man..... why would u wanna get a civic intake and mod it to fit ur 3g, when u can make ur own CAI for lesser price?

If you're lucky, you could get a short ram intake (complete) from ebay for under $40, including the filter and shipping.

true, but CAI as we all talked about for 100000 years, is much better than the short ram intake. but i guess, a lil reading and a lil common sense with a lil bit of effort would make it worthwhile.

yeah, u 86-87 efi guys, sucks for you all. For us 88-89 guys we just have one PCV , but for u 86-87 have two vaccum lines attached to it. I think u can just block it off, but im really not sure.
