Alright guys, i dunno if i spelled it right, but whatever it's called, i think i got close enough. I just have a quick question. How much is that section to replace? The seal is busted and the boot is completely torn open so now there's power steering fluid everywhere on the underbody of the car. But, for some reason my power steering still works and ive only had to refill it once in like 5 months??? weird isnt it? The guys at NTB couldn't believe it and they said it should be clicking some when i turn but it isn't. There is a metal clicking noise when i hit potholes but that's where the sway bar and that medal clip that holds it up is clicking. The bushing is ripped off of that medal clip thing so the sway bar and that clip ride on each other and clunk. Any prices would help me out.
Thanks,

Chris

OEM you're going to be looking at $500-700 dollars. Used $150 to $485 (assuming you have a MT 5-spd setup). And if you dont have the knowledge/tools/time to do it yourself, then double the price for labor/installation from a shop. Good luck man. It's practically a once in a lifetime of the car deal though. Very rarely do they go out, but when they do, they'll break your wallet.

Here's a pic and prices of parts if you want to check it out:

why not replace the boot and see how it goes. Its a hell of a job to change the rack, if it still works and its not going thu ps fluid too badly, it might be worth saving it.
