well i finished my efi conversion today and got it running. Finally, i still need to work out some bugs though, it kinda luggs down at around 4 grand and higher, but not really, anyways, i just raced my bros car. He has a 90 honda accord lx. With exhaust and aem cold air intake. Wheni used to race him he used to beat my ass by about four cars, but today, I kept up with him. I was like fuck yeah bitch.:flip:

All i need now is header, cold air intake. Oh yeah i have a question, where is the rev limiter suppose to be, or do we even have one. Just a question. But im so happy with the difference. It was well worth the 2 weeks, and 600 dollars. :super:

I hit the rev limiter à 6500 rpm.

Is that only on EFI models? I've hit 7k more times than I care to count (and trust me, it was on accident) and I have yet to encounter a rev limiter.

On my motor, most of the power is made up to 6400 or so, you can distinctly feel the motor lose it's pull. When we had our OKC meet as well, I raced SHADY's LXi manual, and pulled 3-4 car lengths up to 80 mph continously.

Sabz, stop "beleiving" :D :D Just hit the damn limiter :) :)

The carb doesn't have any limiter. The only limiter is the physical limit of the parts. The EFI limiter is at 6500 or so.. 250 rpm past the redline.

yeah, i didnt really go past 6500 because i wasnt use to how fast the rpms climb, and it didnt stay at 6500 so i didnt notice it, but at least its at 6500. the efi conversion is a hell of a difference in power. Im happy with it. Oh yeah, carotman, the distributor from the carb, you cant use it for efi. You have to have that wireharness plug into the lxi one. Because i tried to use the carburated one and thats why my injectors werent working. The distributor somehow sends to the ecu to tell the injectors when to work.
