i just got my accord 98 coupe like a week ago, i got the stock system, but it wont play burned cds, ive tried different qualities, maybe if i get the head cleaned out or something would that work? or will i have to buy a new head all together?

All the ones I have used have been able to play CD-R without any problems. Could be a speed recording issue?? If they're CD-RW they might not work.

One of 3 reasons, your not burning the CD's as audio CD's (Will it play in other normal CD players?), the CD player cannot read the CD because it's being burned at to high of a speed (try x1) or your using CD-RW's (switch to CD-R), or the player simply can't read CD-R's (replace it, it happens).

another reason....some media is cheap(the actual cd's themselves) or it could be your burner, or burning software, if it works in most other cd players, then it is probably your deck, try and use a different type of media (cd-r) to burn a cd and see if that helps
