Ok so I've got it pretty well nailed down. As some of you may remember, I've been having problems with blue smoke. First off, it only blows out blue smoke on takeoff, like at the light. Every time. My car was relatively warm considering I had just pulled off the highway (like 5 minutes on the highway). Anyway, compression is just fine. There is a valve cover gasket leak (small).

What to do?

well, there are two types of blue smoke in our cars.
first one, you will see blue smoke all the time, even when engine is hot. this means you need to change the valve seals.
second one, you will see smoke when your engine is cold, but when it gets to normal temperature it stops smoking. it is your valve guides. you will have to take the cylinder head to the mashine shop.

A bad PCV valve can also cause smoke.

Worn oil rings or compression rings will do it as well. But I doubt thats it... probably a valve problem like they said.
