you should make the wing so the tips are level with the trunk, will look alot better imo. other than that, sick ride. would look killer if the wing was black, carbon hood and white rims with silver lip, keep it up.

i dont like it either, it would have been taken off already but the car has had one problem after another since i got my job, so i have no funds to have it done. Im gonna take it somewhere to have it done cuz when the previous owner put it on there he wrinkled the trunklid a bit and theres some cracks in the paint. And i didnt post the pics on here cuz i dont know how.

you could always rip one from a yard and get it painted to match, that way they don't have to mess with the wrinkle and it can be an easy and fast swap. :)

i have a perfect trunklid on my 87 that i would use, but i would have to use 87 tails, which i also have. I like the 88-89 tails better but if its the cheaper way that would work for me. Also would it be easier to clear the signal part of the 87 tails?

hey dude go to yasu's page on how to clear your tails......... its not really that hard, it would give the 3 gee a clean classy look with clear on top and red on bottom....... keep up the work bro

i took it to the body shop today and i am supposed to be getting some figures on repairing the trunklid and fixing the lil bit of rust that is starting up on it under the license plate. Ill just compare the figures ( i had previously gotten one on just painting the other trunklid) and make my decision.

$250 sounds good for all that work. But when they do it, inspect their work. Make sure the paint matches really well in the sun and at angles too. I actually don't mind the wing. I don't care what others say. I was looking at buying one like that but it was CF and it had alluminum sides to it. But I wouldn't spend $350 on a wing when I could buy a 90-93 accord wing for $150 new.

Very nice ride! Hey at least it doesn't look like all the other stock 3geez in your area. I like mine just the way it is. Stocky lookin w/ slight mods.
By the way, can i ask how you tinted the rear lenses?

I might wanna do that to the amber in my rears cause I've got red LEDs in there and they are hard to see in daylight.

mikes89, i generally dont mind aluminum wings, I just dont like the style that was put on my car, if it was cf or black with different wing tips i think i would have liked it better.

87 accord, the tails were painted black (its actually flat black and u cannot see through it) when i bought it, but it looks like the previous owner used one of those "design it yourself" light covers. I tried using paint thinner to take it off and it wouldnt come off, so im not really sure what paint he used.

i bought the lude spoiler from mike, it wouldn't take much for it to fit, looks like an impala SS spoiler how it hangs off the back of the car, its red right now, not sure if i'll use it, unless i find a 3 g in better shape

it's gotta go or you could try and paint it black and make it match the color of your rims. I personally would have painted all of your tails and front corners in a light clear coat of smoke black like a candy color let it dry. Then take easyoff blue tape and made designs (like those circles you have goin on) and done a light grey over spray on the entire light a dark grey wouldn't go with the purple. Then unwrap your new present and put it on the car and enjoy. Fuck what the cops say.
