i was pondering the idea, that, maybe it would be possible to convert the 4-wheel steering system found on earlier model preludes, into our 3rd GEN accords. i don't know if it would work or not, possible on hatches and coupes, due to the fact that they are very similar in size and shape, but sedans would be a different question.

does anyone else think this is possible, and maybe have a base estimate for what it would cost, if it could be fabricated.

4-wheel steering on a 3G would be EXTREMLY badass.:pimp:

i don't know if i'd like the steering, the turning radius is already pretty nice, i think i'd be more interested in 4 wheel DRIVE......oh that would be nice

I'd expect it to be way more work that it's worth. Just my $0.02.

This topic was discussed before. I'm not bringing it up to say you should have run a search. No the search engine wouldn't have worked, it only worked for me cause I searched "steering wheel" and I knew the member name of the person that started the thread. Thing is I happen to remember that the post turned negitive. You'll have to forgive those of us that remember that not wanting to go down the same road again. So that might have something to do with your lack of replies. Anyway's you should read the post.

In my opinion if you REALLY want it buy a scrap 88-91 4ws lude (so you have most of the pieces ) and be prepared for a lot of fabrication Doable But how bad do you really want it
