Brake Light?

My brake light (one for the handbrake) suddenly came on, it flickered the day before now its just on and been like this for a few days. I know my handbrake is down, could it be a broken sensor or could one of my brakes failed?

that happened to me when my brake lines went out......might want to check those for corrosion of leaks, just an idea....

Check your brake fluid level.
Check your brake lines for wetness. Brake fluid doesn't dry so fast. You can see and feel it.

Aha, yeah I finally checked today. i saw that the cap for it came off and i put it back on. turns out thats what was causing it. Do'h
