Raspy Metallic Sound around 2.0-2.5 k

When I'm revving, or accelerating, my car makes a raspy metallic sound around 2.0 - 2.5 k rpm, and it sounds like its coming from up front somewhere.

I know I need a new clutch, would it have anything to do with that, or do you think its something else?

Are you sure it's not the header flange or heat shield?

it' s called pinging ! it happens due to advanced ignition timing at the distributer ! you have to retard the timing a bit ! or you are using fuel grade less than 87 !

Hey man, i think you're right, I put some 89 in it today instead of 87, and I didn't notice that sound..
