I was talkin to my friend's dad whose a Honda mechanic. I mentioned that i may want to put bugger rims on. He said that if i did it'd screw up my suspension. Now i didn't get much more that that out of him. SO what's everyone's opinion on this?

Well when you use the "plus sizing" rule, his comments become dead wrong. Using a plus size rule means you went with a rim/tire combo that has the exact same overall tire height as the stock tires had.

Example if your stock tire size is either 185/70-13 or 196/60-14 your next plus size is 195/55-15 or 205/50-15, both those sizes are the same height as our original tires 23.4". Next plus size is 205/45-16 also 23.4" tall, next 205/40-17, again 23.4" tall. Now if you don't use proper plus sizing you are asking for speedo error and having the tires rubbing on either the suspension or more likely the rear fender lip. Generally you can vary off the plus sizes a little bit. Saying you'll screw up the suspension is just not a valid argument in any case.

mine are 205/45/17. when i went to firestone to get an allignment they were like my car would not be perfectly alligned because they only align to factory specs. thats about the only problem i think. if you can find someone who would adjust i guess you would be fine.
