Hey guys,
My '89 Accord is due up for a California Smog Check yet again. Last time I was dangerously close to not passing the HC(ppm) requirement. I was at 101 and the maximum was 120. Two years prior to that I was only at 4! So I am pretty worried that I won't pass.
Does anyone have any tips of what I can do to maximize my chances of passing (short of replacing the catalytic converter)?
I already plan on doing a complete tune-up (cleaning out the carb, replacing the air cleaner element and all fuel filters, etc.)
Why can't the DMV just leave me and my Accord alone?!?!
