im back on 3geez after trading my teg for mantis88lx's accord. it now a very low custom front ground effect ( too big to be a lip).
im looking for ideas for side and rear skirts. i will post pics of rims and lip as soon a possible!

I had an entire rear 89 DX bumper added to my rear 89 LX bumper.

Sadly it was towed away along with my 86 DX and got squished when it fell off the car in the middle of the road a few blocks from my house.

I never finished to work on it... I planed to fiber glass the crease where the 2 bumpers met. just never got around to it... now I'm stuck with a LXI coupe bumper... ugly as hell.

basicly what I did was cut the LX sedan bumper just below the trim, and stuck that part a little lower on the other sedan bumper where the bumper started to curve inward. Then I riveted the sides of both bumpers to hold them together, and trimmed the edges where it overlaped the wheel well.

that would go good with my "chopped up" theme
my front lip is the bottom half of a 91 civic hatch bumper, fliped over and mounted to the bottom and molded. It looks kinda street fighterish. I will have pics by tonight

that looks good. i need to get a sedan/coupe bumper onto my hatch... that and a lip, or maybe a front bumper would complete the exterior mods for my car. i think a sedan bumper with a fancy lip would be cheapest, and add to the sleeper look though. but i really like what you have done with the civic bumper!
