Code 8..

Alright, so me dad and I went to check out an 89 efi 3g for him today right? Starter was going on it so they had to hammer on it to get it going. My dad was inside turning the key while the dealer owener was hammering on the starter. Anyways, he got it started and I saw the engine light come on! So i jumped in the back and checked the code and got a code 8. My dad touched the gas and the car died, he restarted it and it never gave the code or the stalling problem again! We came home and checked the code and it was for the TDC sensor. Now I've been trying to find out where it is located on our engines but no luck! Can someone let me know where it is located? :sadwave:

Where on the distributor, is it the plug that sits right on top? Perhaps someone could post a pic it would sure help!
