If you were planning on puttin alot of money into to it, that would be an excellent project car. Instead spending countless hours upgrading different areas you can essentially start from a blank slate and create a nasty little 3gee.

there's still a lot of weight you can get rid of... and strip your engine of everything it doesn't need, and get rid of the stock air cleaner arnd put on a universal mushroom cleaner...

if you 're truly gonna rally with it, you're gonna want a roll cage and 5 point harnesses... racing seats would be a worthy upgrade also...

keep the front doors intact... but take everything out of them and replace the glass with lexan or use safety netting

cut the back doors apart and just weld the skins in place, replace windows with lexan and give them teh same treatment as the front

also, cut the trunk lid apart, laving the skin for this, too... weld it in place and take out the hinges and tensioners

you're gonna want a front fascia... cuts down on drag, and it adds a tad of downforce...
cut the majrity of the frame from the hood, cut a hole in the hood and put a scoop on where the mushroom cleaner sticks up... sort of a ram-air setup... weld the headlight covers in place, and get rid of the stock hood latch assy. and opt for hood pins

you'll want to scrap the stock wheels and get something lighter, and would be best if you get it in the 15" size

that all would just be for starters for a dedicated rally accord
