it seems to "weep" alot now... and my car overheats....

so, is it time to get a new one? how much do they usually cost?

yes it's time to get a new one...

do you see spatter on the underside of the hood? like above the brake fluid can?

Most of the time it a bearring wearing out... make sure when you put a new one in you don't over tighten the belt or you'll end up wearing out the new pump bearing real fast.
