clutch problems

Hey I have a question... What would be causing ym clutch pedal to be really hard to push and and it sticks for a sec when u let out too, I wont lie, I race this car alot and someone told me my clutch cable might be fuked up but I dunno... Any ideas? Its an 87 LXi

You've got a slipping clutch I think and its not grabbing straight away. I'm not sure whether its a cable problem, but I think you're clutch plate might be fucked...

it can be the cablem.
try adjusting the clutch.
