Oil Filter

Im changing my Oil right now and i figured i could get the Oil Filter off sence my brother put it on without a wrench.. But, It's to cramped to get my arm in there so i can't. I was wondering if i could just hammer a screwdriver into the filter and twist it off that way?

Buy those oil filter wrenches, not the strap ones. They work really good.

hey since you got an intake it shouldnt be that tough to just reach behind the intake manifold and turn it... :)

Get the slide on wrench that you can turn with a wrench or ratchet. Tight fit is good. You could have done the screwdriver thing, but be careful cuz you can seriously mangle the filter. And of course you couldn't drive it anywhere to get it removed!!! Been there, done that. I was 16. 78 Accord, filter in the front of the block. Friend's brother came over and handled it...
