88 Accord 2.0Si .....swap to ???

Hey Im fairly new to the honda mod scene and would really appriciate if someone could shed some light on a few things for me.

Asside from the usual IHE turbo/charger mods i could do. whats the BEST or one of the best Honda to honda motor swaps i could fit into the 88 2.0si without too much trouble or costing me an arm and a leg?

Hope someone can help me out cos i have no idea where to start.... Perhaps a Lude motor? u tell me :D thanks in advance

I was guessing somewhere in the eastern hemisphere.. He probably has a JDM B20..not 2 sure..

hey thanks for the swift replys, im From australia and so is the accord.

i wont even being to guess what motors i could swap... just somthing powerful :D hehe im 19 btw if anyone was about to ask.

What engine do you have now? JDM B20a?

pretty sure thats the one.

If you want pics it'll take me a while. or than i could make it faster by probably just getting the Engine # right ?

Well u probably have a B20a.. Ask Carotman or YK86 for advice..They know that engine well and can help you better than anyone else. Sorry I don't know much about that engine. Good Luck

Some of the australian 2.0si Accords have the A20A engine. it depends where they came from.

that means its a A20... time to go to the junk yards looking for an accord with a B20 in it.. it has 2 cams and 16 valves.... that would be sweet.... and if its a JDM b20 you will have a shit load more HP...

Sweet man, thanks for the info, im sure there almost idintical in size... so it would drop in without too much trouble. so i have to find me a JDM b20....whats that 160HP ..hummmm :smokin:

..please i cannot begin unless i know for sure.... also .. Since im swapping it FROM an A20 what do i need? the tranny , ecu and mounts?
