IF he can prove it is well maintained, it is worth $2500. If the leather is awesome and the stereo works, $2600. If it has okay paint, other stuff may just be okay. Don't get caught up in the SE-i frenzy-- it is stilla 3rd gen Accord with only cosmetic goodies.

Naw! Not for me, unless you have more cash to do the conversion.

I test drove it and it was not worth $2900,it needed a new front motor mount, seats were ripped, stereo did not work and amp had been replaced with a new one,new bumper needed and hood was dented in front, wheels had lots o scratches and paint was not very good, car is between clean and dirty, doors would not even stay open,I offered him $1900 and he said no,but he will most likely not get it because nobody really cares if its an se-i or not unless they are into accords,so if there are 4 cars in the paper for less $$$ with less milage it will be overlooked.

Dude you are so correct on that one!!! Nice job. A ragged out se-i is not worth as much as a decent lx-i. People who aren't into Accords get all excited "It's top of the line, leather, BOSE, etc..." Fact is that shit fails. Real leather upholstery is NOT affordable (vinyl is and that's what they mostly use now). That stereo is decent, but to upgrade (and NOT rig it ghetto style) requires extensive rewiring. Rims are kinda dated as well. WHo cares about body colored mirrors-- you can repaint yours. The rear disc setup is nice, but needs maintained or it will freeze. You did good, kid!! console is tight, but not woth buying a whole car over!!

Ya, i dunno. I really like my se-i, but i always hear people bashing them, and now I hear what you are saying. The leather is such a bitch to maintain, and I am hoping to upgrade the stereo, and I don't want to loose the steering wheels controls but I have to unless i wanna spend $400CDN ... But the se-i is still really nice, and when we got it, it was way better than any other accord or other car for the price that I had seen.

We bought our Se-i about 7 years ago, i think. It had 80,000 KM which is nothing, and pretty much everything was in top condition and mostly original, the thing still has the damn original windshield now.

that sounds great. i'd prob get any 3g for that price if it runs ok. heck, that leaves you w/ $600 (if you were looking to spend $1900 on the other) to mod it or restore it some.

That sounds much better!! I had an se-i in 94 that had 49K when I bought it at a Honda dealer. i maintained the fuck out of it, but the leather, stereo, and rear calipers all needed service with my meticulous maintenance... Still not bad if you're into rare stuff.

well I read the price wrong,its $1875..it needs a new fender,paint,no bose stereo or amp,no se-i mats,and is somewhat dirty,runs very very good but A/C needs work,hmmm...

No. Too much work to make it worthy. Sounds good for parts though...
