Top Ten Newbie Remarks

well.. im seeing that alot of newbies are here... and they are asking some pretty fucked up questions

i am not saying that i have never said anything dumb, but im gonna make a top ten

i must warn you... some of these have very graphic content (answered 50 million times)

1. Can i get a 4 barrel for my car?
2. Does anyone here know what an E RAM is?
3. What kind of cars do the B20A engines come in? Also will it bolt right up or am I gonna have to change mounts and everything else... I am wanting to put one in my 86 LX... Will I need the wiring harness and everything else?
4. TOPIC: Ideas!! on a 85 accord ( isnt this an 86-89 accord forum??)
5. Whats that black knob with the arrow on it do? you know.. the one under the steering wheel to the left?
6. Does anyone know where i can get some GHEY AZZ Altezza's for my car??
7. I want a big ugly bodykit like the civic guys have. Where can i find one?

( this is coming from a guy with ~17 posts... if you were here longer, maybe you would have known that you can see everypost that a user has made... right up to the begining... but you are too newbie to know! hahah...)

Not that I would expect anyone to know this but I have been visiting this board since late 2000. Justin (88turboaccord) invited me to this board from another Honda board. I have had about 5 different handles all revolving around the name Diablo (Diablo'sHatch, Diablo's3rdgenHatch, Diablo's86LX-iHatch etc...) I kept having to change my name because either the board moved or I forgot my password. I go out of town for work a lot, so I cannot consistently devote as much time to this board as others. But if the amount of posts is what constitutes being a newbie rather than time associated with the board then by all means...I am a newbie.

Too bad there wasnt a way to change your 'newbie' status according to how much you already know about your car as opposed to how many times you've posted. I know quite a bit about moding and tuning, i just dont post that much (until recently).

I'm a 'newbie' poster, but not a newbie modder......... :bow:

I think I'm still a newbie. And I was one of the first 30 or so people to sign up on the 1st board. We've moved like three times. It doesn't really matter if that little thing says your a newbie. If you got the knowledge-f**k em'.
I think most of the new guys are just looking for a quick answer and aren't aware of the search tool. We could make a How To use this board post. But would that go in the how to section?-LOL

However I do like the top ten, is that wrong?

I've been driving all over the Northwest for car shows and it pretty much is eating up all my time. Summer will be over soon and my life will be back to normal. So far this year I have collected five trophies, so I'm doing pretty good.
