02 sensors??

Are those little prong things going into the header o2 sensors? If those things are in bad shape, would that lower my top speed?


If so, how much are they, and can i get em at auto zone?

They might hurt the way the car runs, maybe topspeed but would hurt gas milage more that anything. You should be able to get them at autozone.

can they also affect acceleration...cuz when i really step on it.. the car seems to bog down, then pick up after...and also when i accelerate, it's not a smooth acceleration.. it;s kinda jerky sometimes...

how do you replace the o2 sensors in an 88 carbd? for me, just by lookin at it it seems that the metal plate thingy in the headers needs to be removed. is there anyone that can provide some help reg. this matter? thanks guys!

First try to do it. It is really simple if you just try first. Do be afraid to get a little dirty.
