Last thursday, me, carotman and a few other quebec accord club had helped to put a LSD tranny on a h23/h22a engine. What a beautiful day. i've take some pics :smokin:

Nice pics.... Hey carotman, what kind of muffler do u have on your car? or is that just chrome tips? cuz it looks really nice!

And, what size are those rims? 15's or 16's??

L3G10N - Who owns the 4th gen? My g/f has one and she wants to do the h22 swap. Do you know how hard it was to do? i know they 'drop' in, but i wanna know if it was really that easy.

Carotmans car does look really nice. Whats with the Euro(?) plate on the front?

The swap are not so tough. the mounts are the sames. Maybe the hardest part is about the wiring OBD1/OBD2 conversion if you need it. It took a weekend to put the h23/h22a hybrid on the 4th gen. I have all the pics of the swaps.

WOW. you guys have quite a collection of rides!! I REALLY like that gray 2dr 4th gen. Looks really nice! Are those JDM one piece headlights i see?? Or are they projectors?

what did you use from the h22/h23? Why did you do thats hybrid? I've heard that teh h23's aren't really worth it because they're not balanced well and have a tendency to fall apart quicker then the h22.

the guy have bought the engine like this. The block is a h23 but the head is a h22a Vtec. He have 176whp. i can ask him a few question for you if you want. And i have a lot of pics

K i was just wondering what made it hybrid. She probably wont have the money anytime soon so you dont need to bother with the pics right now. I am curious though, does the prelude ECU plug right in to the Accord harness? to me, 176 whp isnt THAT great cause dont they come with like 185 HP at the crank? Seems like with only a couple minor mods you could get more then 176 hp at the wheels.

The engine are supposed to be between 200 and 225hp at the cranck. A H22 are 200hp and on the dyno, with your mags, you loose around 10-15hp at the wheel. He got 176, so add(worst case) 10HP, you get 186whp. that's totally normal. The engine was with the stock accord exaust too..... it was like a hyperturbo fan who was shooting he's vent on our face!

The gray 4th gern Accord has JDM one piece headlights.

The 4th gen Accord with the carbon fiber hood was receiving a M2B4 transmission that week-end (I was the one pushing the tranny from under the car hehe)

Juan, I needed a tan... that day outside made me roast a bit hehe

The muffler I got is a 3Aracing stainless steel muffler.
