Ok, here is mines .............. The CAI was custome made by a shop in New Jersey. turfnnsurf was my connection. If you guys want one like this, get a hold of Brad( turfnnsurf). It was kind of expensive but I love it :super: and before you ask, the total price was $195 USD including the bypass valve.

I have a question about the CAI. Does it make it sound better or worse when the pipe bends alot when putting it together? I was thinking it would make it sound alot better when haveing alot of 90 degree bends on it so it would echo in there.

I think the wistle happens at the Filter not thru the piping. and If anything the 90 Degree bends would Take power. the Straighter Less bend the better.

Sound? PIshaw! it makes your car run better!!!!!!

Intake and exhaust both have pulses... and those pulses create sound waves, sometimes the pipes will resonate.

It will flow better with less bends...I need a new top piece for mine but for now I don't care, because even with the 90 degree bend I can feel a differance.

I wonder if I can botch together a Cold Air intake using a ram Air pipe. the Ram air pipe is Straighter then the 90 teg first pipe. hmmmm what chu all think????

That actually is what I was planning on doing because the civic intake goes down past the battery and thats why we have to cut it. It probably would work. Trial and error i guess.

i would have to say the intake that Scott and Kicker have are one of the best CAIs. I like it. I wonder how mine is gonna turn out.

Here's mine. Blue part is some 91 Accord Injen intake some dude fucked up painting it, and gave it to me for free; the grey one is an AEM full CAI from a 94 Integra I got for $20 from some dude cleaning out his speed shop's junk (it came without the silicone bits, only the air filter). I cut them and put 'em together. I found a welder who can do thin wall aluminum pipe finally, so he will finish it up then.
Cheap, odd, but effective. Otherwise I'd get a cheap 'teg intake off of Egay and cut that to fit like whoever switch the middle and top around did.

here are some picts I have actually replaced the last pipe going to the filter with a different hose. I had a few problems with this because I wanted to use my K&N folter not the one that came with it.

On 88-89 accords they only have 1 vacume line where as on the 86-87 accords they have 3 vacume lines.
