I am going to have my 89 Coupe's clutch replaced pretty soon, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as far as a good clutch to buy(I was considering a direct factory replacement). I occasionally race around town, but not much; I am more into longevity of the car. Also, are there any specific things I should do when the clutch gets replaced -- proper break-in procedure, etc? Thanks for the input.

If longevity is your game, then go get oem.
Of course also replace the normal stuff spring, bearing, flywheel resurface.

get an ACT clutch. You can get a little higher performance then stock. Its good for if you occasionally 'race' it but not so harsh that it would be tiring to drive daily. They have their stage 1 for like 230 or so and you can get em almost anywhere.

I would get an aftermarket clutch. With my OEM clutch I have trouble roasting my 17's

Look into the exedy clutches on ebay. they are usually right around $100 for the clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing.
